'Recognised as a "gallery of excellence" by the NSW Regional Galleries Association, Bilyara Gallery, which opened in January 1989, is a must for visitors to the Sapphire Coast. 

Everything about this gallery, from its unique design to its tranquil setting, provides visitors with a very special experience. 

Bilyara exhibits a wide range of the finest quality Australian arts and crafts beautifully displayed against a backdrop of timber ceiling, pine flooring and radiating oregon beams.  Enhancing the total effect is the tempting aroma of coffee and home baked cakes, along with soothing music, excellent lighting and a warm welcome.

The paintings on show are by both local and interstate artists and comprise oils, watercolours, pastels, acrylics, and etchings.  Representational landscapes and seascapes are available, as well as a wide variety of semi-abstract and more contemporary paintings.  Crafts include glass, pottery, wood, jewellery, bronze, pewter, and stained glass figurines.
